Gartman cuts gold

June 3 (Bloomberg) -- Dennis Gartman, an economist and the editor of the Suffolk, Virginia-based Gartman Letter, said he cut his gold position by a half this morning.
“We fear the possibility that gold might swiftly fall to $1,480 or so over the course of the next few days or weeks,” he said in his daily report
